Beautiful, vintage Murano hand blown deep purple (almost black), white and pink ribbons Italian art glass fazzoletto / handkerchief flower vase. Attributed to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. The multi-color Filigrana ribbons create a unique alternating color pattern. Striking swirl design. The bottom is polished flat and has a pontil mark as well. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, coffee table or credenza. Use it as a flower vase, or showcase it as a sculpture in your home. Mid-century era. Some ash residue became attached to the glass surface (see photo). Measures: 9 1/2″ long x 9″ wide x 5″ tall.
